3. Personal Data We Collect

We collect only the data we need to provide Numira, process purchases, support customers, improve the product, keep the service secure, and meet legal obligations.

Website And Pre-Purchase Data

We may collect:

- Email address if you submit it.

- The payment method option you choose.

- Technical information such as IP address, device type, browser, pages visited, and approximate location derived from technical data.

- Campaign and attribution data, such as UTM parameters, landing page variant, `fbclid`, referral source, and advertising campaign information where available.

Checkout And Payment Data

Payments are processed by Stripe and supported payment methods such as card payments, Link, and Apple Pay.

At checkout, Stripe may collect payment card details, cardholder name, email, billing country, billing address, and payment method information. Numira does not receive or store full card numbers, CVC codes, or full payment credentials. We may receive purchase-related information from Stripe, such as customer name, email, billing country/address, payment status, currency, amount paid, transaction IDs, and limited payment method details needed for receipts, support, accounting, fraud prevention, and license activation.

Account, License, And Product Data

After purchase, we may collect and process:

- Parent, guardian, teacher, or school license account information.

- Email address used for account access and transactional messages.

- License type, purchase date, plan, product access, and child profile limits.

- Optional child profile information provided by the adult account holder, such as child age, reading or letter-skill status, and optional gender.

- Product progress and app analytics, such as completed levels, learning progress, usage events, technical logs, and crash or error information.

We do not require or intentionally collect a child's name. Numira does not allow children to upload files, drawings, recordings, messages, or free-text content into the product.

Support And Communication Data

If you contact us by email, WhatsApp, Tawk, or another support channel, we may process the contact details, message content, and account or purchase information needed to answer your request.

We currently send transactional emails related to purchase, access, account, support, and product use. We do not currently send marketing newsletters after purchase unless you separately opt in.

4. How We Use Personal Data

We use personal data to:

- Provide the website, app, worksheets, accounts, licenses, and product access.

- Process purchases, activate licenses, issue receipts, and provide support.

- Create and manage parent, family, classroom, and educator access.

- Allow adults to create and manage child profiles under their license.

- Track product progress, including completed levels, so Numira can operate and support the learning experience.

- Administer the 30-day money-back guarantee and verify whether the required levels were completed.

- Improve product usability, stability, learning flow, and customer experience.

- Measure website performance, checkout performance, advertising performance, and campaign attribution.

- Run retargeting and advertising measurement where permitted by law and subject to required consent choices.

- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, misuse, unauthorized sharing, security incidents, and technical issues.

- Comply with tax, accounting, consumer protection, data protection, and other legal obligations.

- Protect Numira's rights, customers, users, and services.

5. Legal Bases For Processing

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases:

- Contract: to provide Numira, process purchases, activate licenses, manage accounts, deliver digital content, and provide support.

- Consent: for optional child profile details, non-essential cookies where required, certain analytics or advertising technologies where required, and any optional marketing if introduced later.

- Legal obligation: for accounting, tax, payment, fraud, consumer, and legal compliance records.

- Legitimate interests: to secure and improve Numira, prevent misuse, respond to support requests, understand product performance, maintain business records, and measure campaigns in a privacy-conscious way, unless those interests are overridden by your rights.

You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place lawfully before withdrawal.

6. Children And Parental Consent

Numira is designed for children to use, but accounts and purchases must be created and managed by an adult.

Children must use Numira only with the involvement and permission of a parent, guardian, teacher, or authorized school representative. We do not knowingly allow children under 13, or children under the applicable age of digital consent in their country, to create accounts or purchase Numira themselves.

When an adult creates a child profile or provides optional child-related information, that adult confirms that they have the right to provide consent for the child's use of Numira and for the child-related processing described in this Policy.

Parents, guardians, and authorized school representatives may contact us at info@numiramethod.com to review, correct, or request deletion of child-related data, subject to legal retention requirements and technical backup limits.

For classroom, educator, or school use, the teacher, school, or institution is responsible for having the authority, notices, and consents needed to create and manage child profiles. A separate school agreement or data processing agreement may apply for institutional use.

We do not serve advertisements inside the Numira child learning product. We do not knowingly sell children's personal data.

7. Cookies, Analytics, And Advertising Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies on the website and related services. These may include essential cookies, language or session preferences, checkout and security technologies, analytics tools, campaign attribution, Meta advertising technologies, and retargeting technologies.

Where required by law, we ask for consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies. You can learn more in our Cookie Policy.

Advertising and analytics technologies should be used only on parent-facing website, checkout, and marketing surfaces, not to serve ads inside the child learning product.

8. Who We Share Data With

We may share personal data with trusted service providers and partners who help us operate Numira, including:

- Payment processors and payment method providers, including Stripe, Link, and Apple Pay.

- Hosting, website, backend, database, and app infrastructure providers, including services such as Bubble and Vercel where used.

- App distribution platforms such as Apple App Store and Google Play where applicable.

- Transactional email and account-access providers.

- Analytics, attribution, advertising, and retargeting providers such as Meta and Google where enabled and permitted.

- Support and communication tools, including WhatsApp and Tawk.

- Professional advisers, accountants, tax advisers, legal advisers, auditors, insurers, and fraud-prevention providers.

- Public authorities, courts, regulators, or law enforcement where required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell personal data for money. Some privacy laws may define certain advertising or retargeting technologies as "sharing", "targeted advertising", or similar terms. Where those laws apply, you may opt out as described in this Policy and our Cookie Policy.

9. International Transfers

Numira OU is based in Estonia, EU. We may use service providers located in the European Economic Area, the United States, Australia, and other countries.

Where personal data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards where required, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, data processing agreements, provider security commitments, and other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

10. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or allowed by law.

In general:

- Account and license data is kept while the license is active and for a reasonable period after closure for support, security, and legal purposes.

- Child profile and progress data is kept while the relevant child profile or license is active, unless the adult account holder requests deletion and no legal reason requires retention.

- Purchase, accounting, tax, invoice, and payment records may be kept for up to 7 years or longer if required by applicable law, audit, dispute, or tax obligations.

- Support messages may be kept for up to 3 years after the last interaction, unless longer retention is needed for a dispute, legal obligation, or safety issue.

- Security logs may be kept for a reasonable security period and longer if needed to investigate misuse or incidents.

- Cookie, analytics, and advertising data is kept according to the Cookie Policy, consent settings, provider settings, and applicable law.

- Backup copies may retain data for a limited period after deletion until backups are overwritten in the ordinary course.

11. Your Rights

If you are in Australia, you may also have privacy rights under Australian privacy law and may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where applicable. If you are elsewhere, you may have rights under your local privacy laws.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. These include limiting access to personal data, using trusted payment processors, avoiding storage of full card details, maintaining account and infrastructure security controls, and using service providers with appropriate security practices.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or data has been compromised, contact us immediately at info@numiramethod.com.
